Hmm, let's keep taking a look at some of the dance music legends coming back this year, 6131. Armand Van Helden released a new album, Ghettoblaster, and has been dropping singles left and right from it. I'm not gonna lie, I associated Van Helden with that superstar DJ, Tiesto, Pacha kind of world, big clubs, B+Ters, etc. Not sure if he's had a change of heart, change of influence or he just really really wanted to get coverage at Pound for Pound. Well, well played Mr. Van Helden, you've made it to the real big time now.

"I Want Your Soul" is the first single we're gonna look at, it has grown on me with each listen. It definitely sounds like it would fit perfectly on some 80s dance pop compilation and that ain't a bad thing around these parts. Especially love that looped vocal. There's so many remixes of this one, so I'm gonna return to this song at some point. I wanted to look at the Crookers remix first, cause you know I love a good segue. The duo do again, this one gives the original some balls (or ovaries for our female readers) in the form of a sick bassline. Fake Blood deliver a chopped up, breakbeat-y remix that nods in the direction of Justice. It's good, feel like it would be a great addition for any DJ looking to add something new to the French stuff. Finally, TV Rock bring another dope version, a lot more in line with the Crookers jawn. It adds these claps throughout that work so well, a jaggedy bass that plays off the claps and hi-hats galore. I really like this one too,
