Foundation NYC, Club Genre LA, Still Fucking Awesome LA and
It's a big week, what with everyone going home and the holiday and one of the biggest party nights of the year Wednesday. I feel like everyone needs to go out, have some fun and relax, as things could be a bit stressful as the days pass. I can't recommend more highly this party at Sway (305 Spring Street bwtn Greenwich and Hudson) tonight in New York City being presented by Oxy Cottontail. It's called Foundation and it's a benefit for City Harvest, the NYC organization dedicated to providing food for the city's less fortunate. This is an amazing holiday where we can all give thanks for everything we have, but it's all a great chance to try to make it as great as possible for everyone. Bring a can tonight (or a few) and help make that more of a reality. The flier has a list of the most needed donations, so it would be extra rad if you had something on that list. The party's free with a donation, The Bangers are going to be spinning all night, Peg Leg NYC and Melo X are hosting with Roxy, it goes until 4 am, this can be a rare chance that you feel better about yourself the morning after.
-Over in LA, Club Genre looks to be undermining that whole, Wednesday night is the big party night Thanksgiving week. The Acid Girls are back from Berlin, Hatchmatik is in from Montreal, while Frankmusik has come from London, all to spin to you the best dance music there is. They will join the resident DJs Luv Tek, S!n, Zendo and Joaquin, who haven't gone anywhere, for a great party at Cinespace (6356 Hollywood Blvd) that keeps getting better each week. Free before 10:30, $5 for women all night, $5 for guys until 11, doors at 9:30, 18+.
-You're also gonna wanna stop by Still Fucking Awesome at Beauty Bar LA (1638 N. Cahuenga Blvd) to catch the Young Love after-party, where Terry from the band will be spinning along with residents Franki Chan and Har Mar Superstar. That's not all, as you also get a live performance from Labwaste, all for the low, low price of zero dollars! There's also free Sparks from 10-11, making this a pretty amazing deal for anyone in LA looking for a night of drinking and dancing on the cheap.
