Red makes for a fun update to the old uniform..I cut these off at a nice awkward spot, ran them through the washing machine, and dressed them down with the tshirt I slept in all weekend and these floppy suede boots I got at Barneys last summer in Philadelphia. Which look awful worn all the way up (I tried again today just to make sure..gross gross gross) but so perfectly off folded over. Just another sunny day. Right now I'm off to go watch Hot Tub Time Machine and cool off with some watermelon.

Summer sun

SUNNY. I’m loving the amazing weather we’ve been enjoying in Stockholm these past couple of days. Living in a country that is dark 50% of the year really makes you appreciate sunshine on a whole other level. Found this almond colored AA skirt in the depths of my closet and decided to pair it with a pink blouse, snake print clutch and chunky platforms for a romantic seventies inspired look. Ended the day with a picnic in the sunset, if only every day could be a bit more like this ;)

Just got back from the best weekend ever in Coachella - a blur of awesome bands, questionable food, ubiquitous denim shorts and/or fringe, shuttles from arbitrary strip malls to fashion pool parties (Jeremy Scott at Elvis' house! Phillip Lim at Joan Collins'!), a temperature plateau of 110 degrees, a lot of overly optimistic time management, a beautiful and actually sort of romantic setting at the Kings of Leon/All Saints afterparty, carpooling around the desert with the equal parts hilarious and insightful Garance, a trunk full of dusty boots, a heavy leaning towards everything pink-ish in my wardrobe, and um a Ron Jeremy sighting? my old fave, brown lace top from a random shop *again* and ripped short in nude color that I got from Zara in Istanbul, Turkey (It was on sale!)

Okay, no more old photos. So these are my new fave shoes, Jeffrey Campbell wrecker brown leather buckled ankle boots (such a looooong name) that I got from Solestruck.

Been wanting these pair of gorgeous shoes since the end of last year and finally, I got the chance to buy it last month. Wrecker boot with buckles? Aren't they amazing?? Seriously, they are SICK ♥
