"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," said an announcement released Wednesday morning by office spokesperson Ellen Borakove.
"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications," the two-paragraph statement said in its entirety.

Just to keep track of the names, hydrocodone is better known as vicodin, diazepam is valium, temazepam is a hypnoytic sedative, alprazolam is xanax, and doxylamine is another sedative.

Justin Chambers Knows his Limits

Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter Name New Baby

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter have named their six-week-old daughter Indiana Rose, according to reports.

The actress gave birth to the couple's second child on 16 December (07), but have kept tight-lipped about the new tot's name.

In anticipation of the new arrival, Bonham Carter has given her son, Billy Ray Burton (pictured left), a doll so he too can prepare for taking care of the newest addition to the family.

"He just turned four, is in preschool, and we've gotten him a baby doll so he can get used to the idea of having a sibling," she says. "He's already teaching the 'baby' that he shouldn't swallow marbles."

An eating disorder charity today spoke of its delight after receiving a cash donation from actress Kate Winslet.

The Hollywood star has given about $6,000US of her libel damages to Norfolk-based beat, one of three charities to recieve a donation from Winslet

Miss Winslet had taken High Court action against Grazia magazine over claims she had visited a diet doctor. She was awarded an undisclosed sum in damages in March.

Brooke Shields Supports Post-Partum Depression Sufferers

Brooke Shields is campaigning for the bigwigs in Washington to pass legislation to help new mothers with postpartum depression. "There is an entire population of women suffering," Shields said in an interview on Sunday. "And it's time, I believe, for Congress to step in and prevent that, and actually save lives and save potential tragedy." Shields has been open about her own battle with postpartum depression after the birth of her first daughter. "I had gone through numerous attempts to have a baby, and then I finally did have this perfect, beautiful, healthy baby, and it all but destroyed me," Shields said, and added that if Congress passed a bill on the matter, it would be "an easy gift to give to women everywhere."

The UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Jolie, 31, and actor/partner Pitt, 43, are donating $1 milion to the humanitarian effort via their Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The money will go to the UN Refugee Agency, the International Rescue Committee and the international NGO, and SOS Children's Villages. Each agency plays a key role in Darfur and neighboring Chad, providing assistance to the region's millions of displaced people who are living in camps.

That's a far cry from Jenifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's million dollar wedding.

Paparazzo Goes Too Far for Brangelina Candids

Jolie, who's currently in the Czech Republic shooting thriller Wanted, was unwinding on Saturday night (May 5) with her genetically perfect brood in their rented house in Prague. Her domestic bliss was rudely interrupted when a peeping tom paparazzo peeked through the window and began snapping photos of the actress giving her kids a bath, reports Us Weekly.

"She was livid," a source tells the magazine. "Angelina felt so sick and so violated, she was shouting and crying and shaking."

Mel B is dragging Eddie Murphy's name throuh the mud - deservedly so!

OK magazine reports: "Eddie is refusing to do a DNA test and refusing to sign the birth certificate," she explained exclusively to OK!. "I can't register my baby or get her passport. I really wanted to bring Angel over during my visit this week to meet David and the rest of the Spice Girls but I can't take her out of the country... I'm so upset."

Melanie recently announced her intention to compel Eddie, who she lists as Angel's father on the birth certificate, to take a paternity test.

I can't believe Scary Spice would leave her tiny little Angel Iris behind jsut to attend a birthday party. She must REALLY trust her nanny.

Within hours of her arrival, the adopted child of the Hollywood stars had a makeover at Kidman's hair salon of choice, Valonz at Paddington. One observer described the new style as emo, a new-generation Gothic or punk. "She a had a short brunette bob, and now she's got a coiffured look with a blue fringe,'' the passer-by said. "It's currently being described as an emo cut.'' Isabella's new look, which took three and a half hours, is a far cry from the curls she sported as a toddler in the arms of her famous dad. Isabella, with a Blackberry personal organiser attached to her hip, and her burly minder appeared unfazed by the paparazzi trailing them. Mel B Vents About Baby-Daddy Woes

The Daily Mail reports that Melanie Brown burst into tears in the middle of a packed nightclub, sobbing over her bitter paternity battle with Hollywood star Eddie Murphy.

A source said: "It was Mel’s first night out clubbing since the baby was born and she became incredibly emotional. She started drinking champagne and burst into tears at one point, gesticulating and burying her head in her hands."

And, at one point, she rounded on a stunned nearby punter and yelled: "What are you staring at?"

Eddie Murphy is a big dick. I can't wait for the results of Scary Spice's paternity test.

Mel B Going to Court for Paternity Test

Melanie Brown: 'Eddie Is A Poor Role Model For Black Fathers'.... Singer Melanie Brown has again hit out at her ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy for refusing to take a DNA test to prove if he's the father of her baby daughter - calling the actor a poor role model as a black dad.

The former Spice Girl, Scary Spice, was stunned when Murphy publicly ended their romance on a Dutch TV show in December (06) - when she was five months pregnant - and claimed he didn't know if he was the dad of her then-unborn baby. Brown's daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown was born last month (Apr07).

The British star now wants Murphy to face up to his responsibilities..

She says, "He doesn't want to do the Dna (test) and he doesn't want to sign the birth certificate. I'm not quite sure, but I don't think it's a very good representation for a black father in 2007."

Brown adds, "I've got no bad feelings. I feel sorry that this baby isn't seeing her dad and isn't having the beautiful contact. I just want to get a move on and I just think it's disappointing that it's ended like this, so publicly."

Britney Takes Anaheim

Britney Spears didn't even bother trying to fake-sing in her second comeback show, chewing gum through her lip-synching -- and she left the stage even more quickly than she did the night before.

Cellphones and cameras were taken from fans who waited two hours to get into the House of Blues in Anaheim, Ca., reports People, after video and photos popped up everywhere on the Internet. For its trouble, the crowd was treated to a 12-minute set (three minutes shorter than Tuesday's show in San Diego) during which Spears chomped her gum during songs, when she should've been singing, or at least making a reasonable simulation of doing so.

Dannielynn and Larry Birkhead Now in USA

Larry Birkhead kept Dannie Lynn's head covered.

Dannielynn Hope Birkhead is in America for the first time. She arrived in Louisville, Kentucky with her daddy this afternoon to visit his family. Larry and Danni are causing a media frenzy with cars and helicopters already chasing them. No word on how long they stay, but they will eventually go to Los Angeles.

“Dannielynn is mesmerized,” says the access hollywood reporter. “She is incredibly calm as the world flies by outside.” The child has been in good spirits the entire monumental day. Earlier, on the plane AH reported Dannielynn had a pleasant flight.

“She ate, slept, played and ate again,” he recounted. “She barely even fussed.”

As for the baby’s father Larry, his flight was enjoyable too. The first time dad, Potts reports, had a great time laughing and playing with his baby girl.
