Iker Casillas and Figo Visited AS and MARCA to Promote Charity Event (21 Dec 2010)
Iker Casillas and Luis Figo visited AS editorial staff to promote "'Partido por la ilusión", a football charity event which will be attended by Zidane, Futre, Guti, Fernando Llorente, and Sergio Busquets. Casillas and Figo have set the event for a couple of months, to make sure that everything goes well. There are over 7,000 tickets sold from 10,000 capacity. 50% of the funds will go to the Youth Sports Foundation of the CSD, 25% for Figo Health Project of Integration, and the other 25% goes for Iker Foundation.
The event will be held today at the Palacio de los Deportes de Madrid, at 20:30. The ticket is on sale at El Corte Ingles with a price €12 for adult, and €7 for children.
Casillas and Figo also visited MARCA, where they responded questions from MARCA.com readers.
Figo is excited to play football for a good cause, and he also said that it is an honor to share the same field with a world champion (Casillas).

Cyber Monday, Cyber December- whatever you planned on purchasing, here's a beautiful and way to score some fabulous and/or rare (sold out, unavailable, limited edition) makeup, perfume and cosmetics items and donate money to one of the worthiest causes and organizations around, Doctors Without Borders. There are some very coveted, collectible and highly desired products on the list (brush sets, palettes, full size skin care bottles and seasonal colors, all donated by bloggers and beauty brands.
BeautyBloggers.org is the collaboration of almost 50 different beauty bloggers and brands brought together by Karla Sugar. In the spirit of the holidays, we wanted to make a meaningful contribution to charity — knowing that the most effective donation to any charity is cash.
So we’re putting our makeup on the auction block. Winning bids will be donated directly to Doctors Without Borders.
We’re raising money for Doctors Without Borders because women are always disproportionately affected in any disaster. This organization is committed to bringing quality medical care to people in crisis, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.
