Geez, I almost did it too! I mean picking a nice design to be tattooed somewhere on my body. Maybe next time around...when I feel courageous, purposeful and more appreciative of this form of body arts, especially on me. Smile. These two tattoos belong to my little brother, so when you see a guy with these big marks on his body...that's him! My brother! I won't lose him ever...He's branded.
Yup, one isn't enough for him. He wants two...and he will want to add more designs to these existing ones. You'll see the finished tattoos next time. I have to say that this tattoo artist is amongst the best one in Bali. He draws very well and he does it fast. Less pain to suffer...
Somewhat my brother was feeling patriotic then, to be choosing a traditional Balinese good-spirited character "Barong" as something very Indonesian in the eyes of International community. He is too, he'd explain. Got it, bro! Smile.
There are, no doubt, many tattooed people walking around Bali. And for real, many more individuals are contemplating to get at least a (real or fake) tattoo during their visit on the island. (His name is Gangga Kirana, and his studio is located on Jl. Patimura no. 55, Kuta, Bali).
