My Favorite Foundations

Any girl who is so into beauty and makeup knows that choosing the right foundation is the main step in reaching an over all well put together makeup look

I am a huge makeup lover and I've been experimenting with so many different foundations throughout the years

These are some of my current favorite ones:

Revlon Color Stay

This is hands down the best foundation I've ever used when it comes to drugstore foundations

It gives a great build-able coverage, stays on for +12 hours and is very affordable

I think that this is a great foundation if you will be out of the house the whole day, or even for work if you are the type of person who would wear some foundation for work

It comes in two formulas: for Combination/Oily skin which I am using and Normal/dry skin, so it suits all skin types which is great!

The only problem with this foundation in the UAE is that they do not stock it in all the different shades it comes in, which is really devastating!

if you go to Boots Pharmacy or Life Style you will find that they only carry it in 4 shades

So what I did is get the darker shade when I was in Doha, Qatar

and now I mix both to get my exact coloring

Nars Sheer Glow

I love this foundation because it gives such a luminous finish to the skin

It gives this slight glowy/dewy finish which I think contributes to the overall healthy look it gives to the skin

The coverage is great and it's very build-able

It comes in so many different shades

Estee Lauder Double Wear

This is my absolute favorite one at the moment

It gives an amazing camouflage coverage which I love

When I do wear it I don't even need to conceal my blemishes

it sets matt on the skin

Mac Studio Fix Fluid

This foundation gives a great full coverage and sets very matt

However, I do not wear it that often because it breaks me out

So if you are one of those lucky ones who can wear Mac foundations (because they tend to break out A LOT of people) then definitely try this one out

Bobbi Brown Oil Free Even Finish Compact Foundation

This is a cream formula foundation, I am not a fan of cream foundations because I have combination skin but this particular one works great for my skin type because its oil-free

It also comes in a moistorising formula for dry skin

It's full coverage and sets matt on the skin

Mac Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder

Setting your foundation with powder is a crucial part of your foundation routin

It insures that it stays on all day long instead of smearing and melting all over your face! And it also takes away any extra unwanted shine especially in the T zone (Forehead, nose and chin)

This is my favorite setting powder because its incredibly light on the skin so it does not appear cakey at all, its transparent so it does not change the color of your foundation and it can be used to set under-eyes concealer as well
