Holy shit, this might be the party of the century. It's like everything Pound for Pound stands for all wrapped up in one night. It combines Paris and Philly, it features some of the best new DJs in the world, it's in a warehouse spot, it's BYOB, it goes til it can't go no more. This is the latest and best stop on the Institubes Paris Terror Club tour, as Para One, Surkin, Curses! and DJ Orgasmic hit the City of Brotherly Love tonight. This one brings together the two amazing Philly DJ party/collectives, Dave P.'s [click.] and Rizumu. So, not only do you get the Parisians, you also get some of the best Philly DJs too. Dave P. and Pink Skull, Thomas La Obscure of Rizumu, Accidentally of Philly's Foundsound label and John Schenk of Pop Ambient and Tantrum Tonic party fame (on the deck outside) will all spin tonight. Things start at 11 at The Vacuum (1740 N. 2nd St., i.e. 2nd & Tilghman, i.e. half block from 2nd & Cecil B. Moore Ave.). $10, byob, so no paying the ridiculous bar prices, food provided by 2 Potatoes vegan catering service, outside deck for smoking and hanging out. Philly, get into this! It's a rave, Dave! I want you all to go extra hard for me, as I'm so sad I won't be in attendance.
