Relationships and Making More Money Then Him....

It's 2010 and the majority of people taking over the working world are women.  Women have become the top commodity in many industries and we are now obtaining some higher positions then men and earning more money.  Not only are we earning more money but some men are taking care of the household while the woman goes out to work.  As you can see times have changed since the 1950's and women are doing the damn thing.  Go ahead fabulous ones, do your thing!

With that said, do you make more then your man?  If this is the case has it caused any differences in your relationship?  I ask this because I see some couples where the man is fine with his woman making more money then him, actually for some it's a turn on.  Some women are even turned on by there man taking care of the house.  I think the mindset these men have is great because obviously they are confident enough with their relationship and he doesn't care who makes more money as long as everything is taken care of in the household.

On the flip side you have the, what I call, insecure man who can't stand that his woman makes more then him and now everything is turned into a competition.  What they fail to understand is that all this will do is cause detriment to the relationship as a partnership is not a competition.  This can affect communication and happiness if this takes place.  For example, I personally know of an individual who doesn't like his woman making more money then him so he does everything he can to try and come home with more money then her.  Due to this everything is about competition, there is no romance and connection.  It's just, let's see who can make more money, come home, go to sleep and do it again tomorrow.

As you can see ladies for some it can be a good thing to make more then your man but for some it can be detrimental.  I will say this though, if he is to insecure to handle you making more money then him he either needs to grow up or get out.  Just saying.
