''Festival D'Été de Québec'' (Québec City's summer festival) has a better lineup than Montreal's Osheaga! I just can't deal! If i wasn't so afraid of getting killed on the plaines d'abraham i would totally go! Festival runs from july 7th to 17th. Here are some of the artists playing:

Cannes Film Festival

There's lots of movies i wanna see this year at the Cannes Film Festival, movies that are playing in the competition section of the festival: Lars Von Trier's ''Melancholia'' with Kirsten Dunst & Charlotte Gainsbourg. Pedro Almodovar's ''The Skin That I Inhabit''. Terrence Malick's ''The Tree Of Life'' with Brad Pitt & Sean Penn. and Lynne Ramsay's ''We Need To Talk About Kevin'' with Tilda Swinton & John C. Reilly, wich was one of my favorite books i read this year! I Can't wait! The Opening film this year is Woody Allen's ''Midnight In Paris''

Osheaga 2011

Last night I found out that the artists for the 2011 edition of Osheaga were being announced at midnight (thanks to MWR). The lineup kinda feels like a disappointment... We were kinda hoping for PJ Harvey, but sadly she ain't in the lineup (hopefully this means she'll come to montreal and do a show in a hot little venue) but like all the years passed things are bound to change before the date of the event, even more so this year because there's only one headliner.
