At The Drop Of a Hat

Seriously?
Eugenie & Beatrice (Fergie's daughters??) at The Royal Wedding. I mean... i know the british are big on hats and stuff but... these hats look like a cry for help! A desperate need for attention.
I guess i would be jealous of Kate Middleton too, so i kinda understand. but still... ugh!

The Royal Wedding

Finally this shit is over with! Big Surprise Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen (Sarah Burton)... i don't know why people are surprised by this.. i've known this for months... don't remember where i read that but... it leaked months ago.
The dress was cute and pretty but... a little bit too boring for my taste. Better luck in your second wedding Kate!

Losing Steam

Is there anything scarier than being done with school and wondering what's gonna happen? What comes next? Who do I talk to? Where do I go?
I feel like when I started school I was very motivated, I had that drive you need to be successful, but throughout the 3 years of my program, i've somehow lost it. And i'm wondering if i'll ever get it back.
The major thing is, i've since realized that I don't want to work in the fashion industry, I don't even think i've ever wanted to. It just wasn't a dream I've ever really had. Why did I decide to study fashion marketing? I have no fucking idea.
So do I go back to school? I don't think so, i'll be so sick and tired by the time i'm done another program i'll lose every last bit of motivation I still possess. Or do I look around and fuck my way to the top? Hardly, if it was that easy I would have done it by now. Do I just think about it some more and get a minimum wage job to pay for my shit? If I do that, i'll get somewhat comfortable and I won't really look for anything better.
So i've come to the conclusion that I have to starve a bit to give me that extra push in the ass I need to really get my shit together and make something happen for myself, because god knows no one's gonna approach me with a job offer if they don't know i'm out there looking, and I can't depend on anyone else to do anything because it seems everyone is in the same boat. It's do or die mother fuckers, let's hope I remember how to swim!

Payton Diagnostic

Fallen 1950s screen siren Barbara Payton had trouble finding men, so she went to a therapist to find out if there was anything wrong with her. What her told her, applies to many of us i think:
"You want a man who doesn't exist.''
"A strong man, yet one you can handle.''
"A handsome one, yet one who is of no interest to other people.''
"A rich one, yet one who will live as a beachcomber with you.''
"A talented one, but one who won't steal any of your glory.''
"A cheerful one, but one who will fit into your many-faceted moods."
