Worst Of Costume Institute Gala

My pick for worst dressed at the 2011 Costume Institute Gala, Blake Lively, in Chanel. Ugh! disgusting!

Best Of The Costume Institute Gala

My favorite look from the 2011 Costume Institute Gala, Anna Wintour, in Chanel Haute Couture. Surprising!

Want

This might place me in the Victoria Beckham school of shoe philosophy, but my second thought when I saw this pair of Alexandre Birman Indigo Python wedges was: "looks so comfy!" (the first one was "Pretty! Want"). Between the ample wedge, the platform and the wide straps that can hold even the wonkiest of ankles (mine) in place, these Alexandre Birman sandals look as easy to wear as they're chic. Yes, that's my idea of reasonable shoes.

The Royal Wedding

Finally this shit is over with! Big Surprise Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen (Sarah Burton)... i don't know why people are surprised by this.. i've known this for months... don't remember where i read that but... it leaked months ago.
The dress was cute and pretty but... a little bit too boring for my taste. Better luck in your second wedding Kate!

Eva Mendes at Tribeca Film Festival

Maybe it's just me, but there's something unbalanced about Eva Mendes' fashion and makeup choices for the 'Last Night' premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. I like the color of her Gucci dress and it's interesting, but all that fabric and length and coral... It's just a little off, and I find it overwhelming and distracting. Eva Mendes is too beautiful for this gown and look- they're wearing her.

Beyonce In Paris

I'm not a Beyonce fan and usually feel she's a beautiful woman who doesn't do herself any favors, style-wise. But this Marc Jacobs outfit (from his Fall 2011 collection) was the perfect choice for Beyonce as she went out for an Easter Sunday lunch in Paris (lucky girl!). It's both fun and classic, complementing Beyonce's perfect figure while not showing any unneeded skin. Lovely (even if I think she could use a little more eye makeup and a little less hair color).

T By Wang

''The new “T” Collection by Alexander Wang gives us their rendition of the poncho. This time they’ve re-worked it in 100% cotton and have taken a more refined look to the piece. This oversized styling pays homage to the classic surf styling of the 1970s. An awesome piece from the collection''

Dita Von Teese At Coachella

What do you wear when attending a music festival? If you're Dita Von Teese the answer is Dior and Moschino Cheap and Chic. Not that I'd expect anything else. For some reason I can quite quite picture Dita in denim cutoffs, unwashed hair and flip-flops. But even Dita Von Teese is human: she packed light on the shoe front and wore the same pair of espadrilles on days 1 and 3.

Tom Ford Is Celibate

Remember when we were in high school and people used to say that the kids who couldn't stop talking about sex were the ones who weren't getting any.
Well i'd like to apply this concept to Mr.Tom Ford. Bitch can't stop shoving naked people in our faces, I think he's sending us a message ''I WANNA FUCK!''. Let's not waste another second!
Neroli Portofino Fragrance, by Tom Ford ads. Couldn't he have chosen a male model with a better ass? come on!

Caterina Balivo At An Emilio Pucci Party

I had to google Caterina Balivo to find out she's an Italian game show host. I saw her pictures from a cocktail party hosted by Pucci in honor of designer Felice Limosani during Milan Design Week.  I have a soft spot for Emilio Pucci and an even softer one for everything Italian, so I found this look quite captivating and wanted to share.

Since I had no idea who Caterina Balivo was until 15 minutes ago, I hope my Italian readers are not going to inform me she's their version of Lindsay Lohan or Snookie. even if she is, I still want the dress.

Robin Wright's Pant Suits Style

Robin Wright will always be the Princess Bride, no matter what (speaking of which, have you entered the No More Waity, Katie royal giveaway?). She looks even prettier now that she dropped the dead weight of Sean Penn from her name and her life (am I the only one who feels Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson fully deserve each other?).

I was looking at photos of Robin from the last few days as she's now promoting her movie The Conspirator and realized that we often see her in pant suits, some better than others. The gray Vivienne Westwood was not a high fashion point, mostly because it didn't fit in the chest area. There seem to be quite a few black and white suits in Robin Wright's closet- see photos from the last couple of years. Yes, the next one is of Robin's brief moment as a brunette next to Sienna Miller.

...and for a change:

The last photo is the closest I could find of Robin wearing other colors and I love the softness. The warm colors play up her flawless skin. In any case, no matter what she's wearing, Robin Right is as amazingly beautiful today as she was back in 1989. She often gives a vibe of 1970s glam- something about the blond waves and sharp cheek bones. Gold accessories with any of her white pant suits and she's in Farrah Fawcett land.

Warhol Mess

I have no idea who made this, but one thing is for sure, Andy Warhol would hate it! How dare they?! That being said, I think the recent surge of Warhol love is a bit much, the man wasn't the genius that everyone seems to agree that he was (but that's just my opinion).

T Sweatpants

T by Alexander Wang sweatpants. I've been very reluctant to get on the sweatpants bandwagon (I've never owned a pair of sweatpants in my life) but i might just change that for mr.Wang! Hello!
